BARD IN THE YARD is BACK!

FALL 2019 SHOW ANNOUNCED!

Romeo & Juliet, 2018

NEXT UP...

SUMMER 2018 PRODUCTION

Bard in the Yard - Romeo & Juliet

In fair Verona, where we lay our scene, The Montague and Capulet families have been fighting since they can remember.  When the only son and daughter of the families meet by chance and fall in love, could it be a sign that peace may finally come?  Only through clandestine plans, loyalty, loss and revenge could such a story unfold.  Fall in love with the characters in this lively love story as they make you laugh and cry with their playfulness and passion.  A comedy that will bring you to tears, a tragedy that will bring joy to your heart, Romeo and Juliet is a powerful and playful delight for anyone and everyone to enjoy.

Whether as a romantic date, a family outing or a jaunt with friends, make your way to Romeo and Juliet this summer at any or all of the three venues where we'll be performing!

Our three beautiful venues are:

Firehouse Center for the Arts, Newburyport, MA, Saturday July 14, 1pm

KITTERY COMMUNITY CENTER, KITTERY, ME, SUNDAY JULY 15, 5pm

Tendercrop Farm, Dover, NH, Saturday August 4

Castle in the Clouds, Moultonborough, NH, Sunday August 5

SPRING 2019 PRODUCTION

Proof by David Auburn, winner of the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Literature, follows closet mathematician Catherine as she navigates her way through the passing of her genius father following a longterm mental illness that left him unable to tell the different between complex mathematical equations and knock knock jokes.  Hailed by NY Magazine as one of "the great American playwrights", David Auburn expertly and exquisitely crafts a play that "…combines elements of mystery and surprise with old-fashioned storytelling to provide a compelling evening of theatre…" NY Daily News.
