As summer wraps up theatre.unmasked is preparing for what’s ahead. A Holiday Variety Show in December, auditions for upcoming productions and a new youth program are on the agenda, all starting from Apple Harvest Day this October!

APPLE HARVEST FESTIVAL, OCTOBER 7th, DOVER NH

On Apple Harvest Day theatre.unmasked invites locals to come join the fun of classes at The Strand Ballroom.  Among other fun performances and activities happening at The Strand, a morning acting class and afternoon improv class will be held, and participants need no experience to join in.

CLASSES FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS

t.u’s upcoming goals for education programing include the formation of a Youth Company, starting with advanced acting classes for teens with Spring Skills Training.  After the Spring , a Summer Intensive will run for 1 week, followed by an audition only Fall Production.  Our Improv for Grown Ups classes will start the week after Apple Harvest Day - so check those out HERE

PRODUCTIONS & PERFORMANCES

With so many theatre options gracing local stages in December, theatre.unmasked is preparing a night of pure fun with a Holiday Variety Show on December 16, at Dover’s Strand Ballroom.  Dover locals are invited to support and enjoy this night of entertainment, as part of the proceeds will be donated to The Strand Ballroom for development and improvements.  Local performers and groups wishing to be part of the variety show are invited to submit a 5-10 minute performance proposal by October 31st.

IN THE NEW YEAR

After the holiday season is over, t.u gets moving on their 2018 programing with a production of David Auburn’s “Proof” in the Spring, and Bard in the Yard, “Romeo & Juliet” in the summer.  Fall 2018 will bring the first reading series for t., focusing on American works.  Our first round of general auditions will be held in November, actors can register to audition HERE.

A TASTE OF LAST SUMMER....

This past summer, t.u embarked on a mini-tour of their latest Shakespeare production.  These shots, thanks to Ron St.Jean Photography, are from our Flaghill Winery and Woodman Museum shows.  Missed the show?  Don't worry, you can catch us next summer as we produce an outdoor production of the classic love story, Romeo & Juliet!
